Coronation party invitation from Grantown

An invitation to view Saturday's coronation of King Charles III and Her Majesty the Queen Consort has gone out from the Royal British Legion Scotlandk's Strathspey branch.

The doors of their Grantown clubrooms will open at 10am in good time for the televising of the event from 11am.

"There will be two screens working upstairs and it will be open house, with a full day for all who want to experience it all," explained Rob Clark on the branch's behalf.

"Afternoon teas will be served with a high tea finger buffet available and there will of course be the opportunity to purchase a wee dram to toast the King.

"And in the evening there will be dancing from 9pm to the music of Jacquie and Ian. Entry will be free to all over-18s."
