More fun days have been lined up starting both days this weekend to raise funds for the Kingussie High School S6 prom.

On offer at the Macdonald Aviemore Resort will be a whole host of activities and all for just £5 per head for unlimited times.

Pupils and parents are organising the celebration this year which will take place on Saturday June 16 in the resort’s Peregrine Suite.

The first fundraiser starts from 11am by the resort’s play park and on offer will be a whole range of family fun including an obstacle course, grass sledging, combat archery, target archery and rounders.

Organiser Elkie Rutherford: said: "There will be plenty of activities on offer for families with the proceeds going towards Kingussie High School’s S6 prom.

"We want to make the evening on June 16 as memorable as possible for all of the pupils departing the school and starting out on a new phase of their lives."

Everyone is welcome at the fun day being laid on by AD Leisure Activity Zone.

The fun days will also be held at the same venue this Sunday and also Monday (June 4), all starting at 11am and running through-out the afternoon.

Highland Council convener Bill Lobban will be the guest speaker for the prom which is expected to be attended by around 60 pupils and partners.
