Staff reopen for business at Glenmore’s Pine Marten Bar + Scran
The doors are open again at the late Scotty Fleming’s Pine Marten Bar + Scran - but for the time being, staff say, it’s really the Pine Marten Scran.
“Unfortunately we cannot serve or sell alcohol but if you want to bring in your own to consume with a meal we’d love to welcome you,” they explained today.
The bar closed its doors on May 29 after the sudden death of the man who had made such a success of the business over his seven years as Mine Host beside Loch Morlich.
Today the staff prepared to resume, telling customers: “Hey everyone, we’d like to announce we have managed to reopen after a lot of hard work from our team!
“We are serving breakfast, lunch and dinner all weekend and into next week.”
A memorial service will be taking place in Scotty’s memory next Wednesday
Meantime the opening hours at the Pine Martin Bar are:
Breakfast- 9 until 11am
Lunch-12 until 4pm
Dinner - 4 until 8pm.
