Slush reported on Strathspey roads





Badenoch and Strathspey's roads conditions report, posted at 7.45 this morning, highlights wet roads at south end of the strath, with some slush on roads at the north end.

Roads are being treated as necessary.

In the surrounding Inverness area, wet roads are reported, some with sleet and snow on higher routes.

"We are treating higher roads as required," said a Highland Council spokesperson.

"Caution is advised for roads affected by surface water."

On the Nairn side, lower routes are said to be wet due to heavy rain: "And our higher routes have a covering of slush which is being treated as necessary."

As at 8:45am today no schools are closed due to winter weather.
