Snow returns to Badenoch and Strathspey roads





Highland Council reports two to three centimetres of snow over all the strath's roads.

"Treatments are being carried out as necessary as according to policy," a spokesperson said this morning.

On neighbouring Inverness routes road surface temperatures as low as -3 in places have been recorded, but they were expected to recover quickly.

"There is some snow on the ground in higher areas. Treating all routes as according to policy. No other known issues."

The Met Office yellow warning for ice will be in force from 9pm tonight to 10am tomorrow morning (1 April 2022).
