Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival’s organisers calling to local businesses in the Highlands and Moray for new shop window display competition
The biggest music festival in the north of Scotland is calling shops and businesses across the Highlands and Moray to get creative with window displays this year.
Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival launched a new Shop Window Display Competition to mark the 21st anniversary of the event, with entries opening today (Wednesday, May14).
Local businesses are being encouraged to join the celebration by dressing their windows with displays inspired by the 2025 festival theme – "Bella Goes to the Moo-vies" – or from anything that captures the feel-good energy of Belladrum. That might mean nods to music, summer, camping, family fun or simply the unique Highland spirit that defines the festival.
Businesses of all shapes and sizes are welcome to take part, with free weekend tickets to the 2025 event awarded to the most creative window displays, chosen via public vote on the Belladrum Facebook page.
“This is a huge year for Belladrum as we celebrate 21 years of festival memories,” said Cairan Macleod from the Belladrum marketing team.
“The window display competition is all about involving our wider community and bringing that Bella buzz to towns and villages across the Highlands (and Moray!). Whether you take inspiration from classic films or simply want to show off your love for the festival, we can’t wait to see what people create and see what ‘Bella’ means to everyone!”
This year’s festival takes place from 31st July – 2nd August 2025, with acts including Texas, Paul Heaton ft. Rianne Downey, Supergrass, Tom Walker, Natasha Bedingfield, Gok Wan, Tide Lines, Beluga Lagoon and many more.
Businesses can enter the competition by filling in this online form , creating a Bella-inspired window display by June 2 and send a picture of the finished display by June 20th to hello@tartanheartfestival.co.uk.
Entries will be uploaded to Belladrum’s Facebook Page where the public will vote for their favourites on June 23.
