The Inverness and Nairn constituency has been declared for Fergus Ewing, who has held the seat since 1999, in what is another big Highland win for the SNP.
He won the seat with a majority of 9114 ahead of his next placed rival, Conservative candidate Edward Mountain.
He will join party colleague Kate Forbes at Holyrood. Earlier in the evening she retained her Skye, Lochaber and Badenoch seat with a hugely increased majority.
