Dozens of residents around the Tomatin area were without power this morning after a power line came down.

Some 32 customers living in seven postcodes lost power at around 5.30am. There was no immediate word on what had brought down the power line.

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) said its engineers were on-site, and that it hoped to have the power restored to all those affected by around 11am.

"We’re sorry for the loss of supply. Our engineers are on site working hard to get the power back on as quickly as they can.

"If you need more information, please call us on 105 or send us a message on Facebook or Twitter (@ssencommunity) and quote reference 'GF4545'."

  • IV13 7XX
  • IV13 7XZ
  • IV13 7YA
