Emergency services attending A9 accident near Dalwhinnie

Police are currently attending an accident on the A9 involving a car and motorcycle just north of the Drumochter pass.

The collision by lay-by 82 was reported to police at around 2.15pm.

There are believed to be two people injured. The extent of their injuries is not known at this time.

A police spokesman said: "The air ambulance is en route to the scene and although the roads remains open in both directions it is likely to close when the air ambulance arrives for a period of time."
