Eden Court theatre and cinema buildings and Under Canvas Inverness, closed until Wednesday, August 4, due to a high-proportion of staff needing to self-isolate during coronavirus regulations
It has been announced that Eden Court’s buildings, Under Canvas Inverness, including the Summer of Hope programme, will be closed until Wednesday, August 4, due to a high-proportion of the staff needing to self-isolate.
However, Under Canvas Across the Highlands is not affected and the tour dates in Ballachulish and Strontian will continue this week as planned.
The priority at this time is the safety of customers, staff and artists and organisers want to thank everyone in advance for their support.
James Mackenzie-Blackman, the chief executive at Eden Court, said: “Over the course of our closure period we will lose 27 cinema screenings, 10 Under Canvas events, five theatre performances, 19 workshops and projects for young people and all the associated income from our café, bars and bistro.
"Despite this we will fully honour all fees to independent artists, and pay to our staff, over our closure period.
"We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Eden Court from Wednesday, August 4.”
