Tomintoul has a new Post Office
Tomintoul Post Office has opened this week at Tomintoul and Glenlivet Discovery Centre,
43 The Square, Tomintoul, Ballindalloch, AB37 9ET.
The new opening hours for Tomintoul Post Office are Monday, Thursday and Friday:
10am – 1pm and 2 - 4pm; Tuesday: 10am – 1pm; Saturday: 9am – 12.30pm.
These are longer opening hours than recently provided as Tomintoul is now open on
Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.
The previous postmistress resigned and the premises at 41 The Square, Tomintoul,
Ballindalloch, AB37 9ET closed on 6 September.
The replacement service now operates at the Tourist Information Centre and Museum
Exhibition Centre. The new operator is the Tomintoul and Glenlivet Development Trust.
Kenny Lamont, Post Office Network Provision Manager, said: “We are delighted to have
relocated Tomintoul Post Office as we know how important a Post Office is to a
community.”
