The hosts seemed well on schedule at half time with their 1-0 lead, gifted to them by captain Savio Genini after 27 minutes.

But after the restart, Calum MacAulay levelled things up for Lovat on 58 and the balance of the match clearly swung, with the visitors applying pressure and having much more say in the matter.

After a fascinating tussle, it was suddenly all over.

James Falconer received a pass from Roddy Young after a brilliant solo run out of trouble and straight into the firing area at the other end of the pitch.

Just 10 days ago Falconer could hardly walk at all with crutches after his recent injury, but today he was walking on air, in the perfect place to convert Young's superb pass.

And two minutes later, with seconds to go, Young instinctively followed up his teammate's saved shot by slotting it away on the volley, high and mightily into the roof of the Lovat goal.
