Time is running out for people wanting to put themselves forward for election to Dalwhinnie Community Council.
It was one of 16 watchdogs across the Highlands that remained unformed after the elections held in December last year.
The maximum membership of each of the community council is determined by the population it serves and varies from seven to 13 members.
Those wishing to stand as a candidate must reside within the community council boundary and must be a registered voter.
A ballot will be held in instances where the number of nominations exceeds the maximum membership and ballot papers will be issued.
The deadline for receiving all nominations is next Wednesday (February 26) at noon.
