Biker is rescued after getting lost in Cairngorms

A disorientated mountain biker was rescued in the very early hours of this morning (Wednesday) in the Cairngorms.

The man was reported overdue and the alarm was raised around 10.50pm yesterday.

Members of Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team found the rider on 3580ft high Bynack Mhor - around 10 miles east of Aviemore - and escorted him off the hill at around 12.30am.
