Cyclist involved in accident near Aviemore dies

A CYCLIST involved in a road accident on the B9152 between Aviemore and Kincraig has died.

Hanno Garbe (57), from Aviemore, was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness following the collision with a Kia Picanto at around 3.25pm yesterday.

He died in hospital this morning.

The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.

Road policing Sergeant Gus Murray said: "Our thoughts are with Mr Garbe's family and friends at this time.

"Our enquiries into this collision are ongoing and we would continue to urge anyone with information to come forward.

"We are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam footage which may help with our enquiries."
