Marathon man Mark watches the birdie
Aviemore's legendary marathon ice-dipper Mark Allan is celebrating not just the huge success of his fund-raiser last month for Mikeysline, not just the resultant launch of a new mental health support group in the strath, but also this picture!
He's just posted it on his Facebook page in triumph:
"Been trying daily to get this wee Robin fella into shot and finally got a good one today.
"He follows me from the car, through the trees to my spot and eats my biscuits.
"Today when I got back to the car he was sitting in a tree watching me leave!"
Mark, who raised thousands last month with a dip a day over 30 consecutive days, has caused such a stir that 'Cairngorm Deeply Dippy' has now been formed for all those who are either struggling with mental health issues or have struggled in the past and want to add their experience for the benefit of others.
