Crime returns to Grantown's streets!

It's back.

And the capital of Strathspey is delighted about it.

Once again, some of the country's top crime writers are heading here for a positive fest of dark deeds and evil doings.

From October 28 until Sunday 30th the town will feast on great literature and drama – the programme so well established by local bookshop Bookmark includes 'Pie, Pint and a Play' on the opening night and features Crime and Dine, where readers can get to eat with their favourite writers and mingle with them for an evening for in-depth conversations at The Pagoda.

It's another impressive festival including the likes of Christopher Brookmyre, Michael Malone, Douglas Skelton and the strath's own Lyn Anderson.

And many more.
