Man hospitalised after Boat of Garten accident





There was drama shortly before 11 o'clock this morning in the centre of Boat of Garten.

A police van and ambulance were called to the Strathspey village and debris from a car was scattered across the main road.

The incident happened in front of the 1896 Art Gallery.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.50am we were called to a report of a crash involving one vehicle and a bicycle on Deshar Road, Boat of Garten.

“Emergency services attended and a 21-year-old man was taken to Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, for treatment.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
