Couple accused of stealing from Craig Whyte
Two people have been charged with stealing goods and items of furniture from the home of the former owner of Rangers Football Club Craig Whyte at Castle Grant near Grantown.
Terence Horan ((53) and Jane Hagan (50) of High Street, Grantown denied today at Inverness Sheriff Court between June 1 and September 7 whilst acting together at Castle Grant stealing a variety of items.
These included three pens, two lamps, a quantity of ornaments, headed notepaper, two bowls, three sets of cufflinks, a photo album, a trunk, a planter, five chairs, a table and two table leaves, a chest, compass, hip flask, set of hip flask cups, a case, two jumpers, a silver photo frame, a box containing a fuel card and keys, a bin containing a quantity of coins, an envelope containing a quantity of guilders, a wheel, telescope and case, a bag containing electrical items, two heaters, two benches, a quad bike, a clay trap and cover.
An intermediate diet was fixed for February 5 next year and a trial diet for March 4.
