How's this for an aurora borealis?
It's one of a series of spectacular shots taken by Heather Lawrie Taylor, of Aviemore.
"Last night's Northern Lights," she said.
"We took a wee trip up the hill.
"These were taken on my phone, with a four to 10 second exposure."
Plenty of great shots have been doing the rounds since last night's spectacular northern show courtesy of brilliantly clear skies.
An aurora is a natural light display in Earth's sky, predominantly seen in high-latitude regions.
Auroras display dynamic patterns of brilliant lights that appear as curtains, rays, spirals, or dynamic flickers covering the entire sky.
