Concern is growing for the 28-year-old’s welfare and officers are working to establish his current whereabouts.

Duncan is described as white, around 5ft 8ins tall, of medium athletic build, with short dark-coloured hair. He was last seen wearing a grey Trespass jacket with red piping on the sleeves, dark-coloured jeans and dark-coloured trainers.

He does not have access to a vehicle and officers believe he will be travelling on foot.

Sergeant Craig Johnstone, of Aviemore Grampian Road Police Station, said: “We have a number of officers in the Aviemore and surrounding areas working to trace Duncan and we would appeal to anyone who may have seen him to report this to officers.

“Duncan is likely to be on foot and we’d ask the public to take note of his description and report any sightings of him to police immediately.

“If Duncan himself see’s our appeal then I’d ask that he contacts police, or someone he trusts, so that we know that he is safe.”

Anyone with information, or who may have seen Duncan, should contact Police Scotland on 101 and quote incident number 1481 of 27 October.
