Change of use applications for short term lets in Badenoch and Strathspey arriving in large volumes
Planning applications for change or use and certificate of lawfulness for short term lets continue to be made in large numbers for Badenoch and Strathspey.
The submissions are ahead of what is expected to be the introduction of a control area for short term lets for the entire strath which is currently with Scottish Ministers.
The applications have been coming in for a couple of months in ever larger volumes.
Properties currently being used as STLs will need a change of use to this as part of the changes put forward by Highland Council.
Certificate of lawfulness are applications for continuation of existing use where the property has been used as a STL for 10 years or longer.
