Campsite by Aviemore is hoping to be the Perfect Pitch in popular TV show
The Perfect Pitch is returning to Channel 4 next week with a trip to Badenoch and Strathspey.
The show’s eclectic revolving cast of camp site critics will explore beautiful Britain in their beloved caravans, campervans, and motorhomes, offering the ultimate guide to the very best camp sites in Britain.
Next Thursday (October 6) at 5.30pm a trio of campervans arrive at Dalraddy Holiday Park by Aviemore while searching for the perfect pitch in the Highlands.
Without leaving the site camper Jen, Ian and Ellis, Sean and Marie, and Emmy and Simon take a train ride, enjoy some quirky Highland games and battle it out on the paint-balling field.
But will it be enough to earn the camp site a coveted five-star rating?
Alvie and Dalraddy Estates owner Jamie Williamson said: “The whole team here are very much looking forward to seeing Dalraddy featured on The Perfect Pitch.
"This is the first time that the show has been filmed in Scotland so it’s great that the focus will be on the Highlands.
"There are some great campsites in our area, it will showcase what our region has to offer.”
Debbie Williams is activities manager at Dalraddy Holiday Park where her and husband Tim Davey run quad trek adventures, archery and operate the Alvie Express.
She said: “We had a lot of fun coming up with the activities for the campers and with so much available at Dalraddy and the Alvie Estate the only problem there was, was picking which activities to offer. We cannot wait to see Dalraddy and our region being showcased.”
Packed with aspirational travelogue content, each week three sets of campers set off in the TV show to explore a popular British holiday region – from the rugged beauty of Yorkshire’s moors and dales to the spectacular scenery of the Highlands and the splendid isolation of North Wales.
The tour of each region continues across the week and in each episode the happy campers stay at one of the holiday destination’s top camp sites before casting their all-important votes.
