Emergency services were called to Newtonmore just before 5pm on Saturday after a campervan ended up on its side following a two-vehicle collision.
The incident happened shortly before 5pm opposite the entrance to Newtonmore's popular Highland Folk Museum.
The Strathy understands the black saloon was occupied by a local motorist who escaped serious injury but required attention from local paramedics.
The visitors in the VW campervan also received attention.
The road – the A86 running between Newtonmore and Kingussie – was closed temporarily while the crash site was examined and cleared but is open now.
A Police Scotland spokesperson told the Strathy: "There were no serious injuries."
