Dogged determination at Aviemore Parkun
Today's Parkrun (February 8) saw a surprisingly good turnout, given the weather.
And another pleasant surprise was the debut of Twix, who came over from Nethybridge with Justin Jones to join in the fun.
The Strathspey fun run's 141st outing was celebrated by no fewer than 85 runners, walkers and joggers, of whom 25 were first-timers.
There were a dozen new personal bests set in a field which included representatives of 16 different clubs.
As ever, it was all down to the good offices of a team of volunteers and today there were nine stalwarts:
Val Machin, Hilary Quick, Janice Cargill, Claire Rooney, Lynsey Whyte, Alice Bailey, David Machin, Sue Oxley and Fergus Masson..
