'No time today' says Bond
James Bond has found his match with Covid-19. This year, anway.
The latest blockbuster in the series, "No Time To Die", is not going to be released next month after all.
The film – shot partly and spectacularly in Badenoch – had already been deferred from his planned April premiere because of the coronavirus lockdown.
Now it is not scheduled to be seen in its entirety until April 2021.
Last night (Friday) MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, announced the new delay of the release of No Time To Die, the 25th film in the James Bond.
The delay until April 2 next year was decided, the website confirmed, "in order to be seen by a worldwide theatrical audience."
The statement continued: "We understand the delay will be disappointing to our fans but we now look forward to sharing No Time To Die next year."
A trailer, featuring glimpses of the sensational footage shot by on estate lands by Loch Laggan, can be enjoyed here.
