Blooming marvellous show at Badenoch Gardening Club's annual show
The best of Badenoch has been on show despite a testing summer for growers.
Badenoch Gardening Club’s Annual Show was held in Newtonmore Village Hall on Saturday with a fine array of produce on display.
Club president Sue Thomas said: “Although gardeners often complain that the weather was either too hot, too wet or too cold, there was a stunning display of vegetables and flowers, showing that local growers can beat the elements.
“There was also a mouthwatering display of local baking ranging from traditional shortbread to gluten-free cakes, and the preserves section was well stocked with jams, jellies and tablet.
“If that made visitors hungry then there were teas and home-baking on offer as well.”
