Blood donors sought to give in Aviemore

The Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service is appealing for donors in the Aviemore area to help bolster stores in the run-up to Christmas.

The session is being held at the Macdonald Aviemore Resort conference centre next week and a minimum of nearly 100 supporter are required.

A SNBTS spokesperson said: "We are due to hold our next blood donor session in Aviemore next Wednesday (December 9).

"We need to welcome at least 90 donors on the day to help sustain current blood stocks.

"Support from local blood donors in the area would be very much appreciated."
