Housey-housey? No, it's outey-outey at Aviemore!
Bingo! A group of Aviemore residents have cracked that old 'self-isolation' problem.
The people of Dalmhor, you might say, have got its number.
They decided this week that, without breaking any regulations, they could quite happily get together for a lot of fun in the sunshine.
Louise Orr told the Strathy: “I’d read, or seen, something somewhere about streets holding ‘distancing’ street bingo and I thought it was a great idea.
“My daughter, Molly, has a toy bingo machine, so I asked the residents of Dellmhor if they would be interested in participating. I thought it would be a good laugh for us all.”
And that’s just how it turned out, while the glorious spell of warm, dry, sunny weather continued at the weekend.
“Lots of folk were keen on the idea,” she celebrated. “So Bingo cards were put through the doors.
“Residents sat safely at their doors while I shouted the numbers as loud as I could. Certificates were provided for the first line and then house. Trisha Trolland and Christopher Josie both won prestigious homemade certificates! It provided some light-hearted humour in this weird, crazy time!”
