Ice the main problem on Badenoch and Strathspey roads





Highland Council's roads report for Badenoch and Strathspey, posted at 8:42am, warns of widespread ice across the area.

"Main roads and bus routes being treated as necessary," said a spokesperson.

In the surrounding Inverness area grey frost has hampered traffic and icy patches have been reported, with gritters heading out on all routes.

As of 10am there were no school closures in the region as a result of bad weather conditions.
