Belladrum will be a wifi hotspot this summer

An exciting new Co-op sponsored WIFI hot spot at sold out Belladrum Festival will allow revellers to instantly post their happy snaps online

Supported by the Co-op, who will also be back on site with their pop-up shop this year, the service is expected to be a big hit with the digital savvy festival-goers looking to share images and snapshots of their fun at the festival with their friends who weren’t lucky enough to get a ticket.

Joe Gibbs, the festival founder commented: "You won’t find me on snapchat, but it’s brilliant that the Co-op will be bringing this extra element to the festival this summer. Connectivity in the Highlands is paramount for tourism and industry, to make sure that we remain relevant in the context of the globally connected world."

Alasdair Fowle, Marketing Manager for the Co-op added; "The Co-op is delighted to be returning to Belladrum Festival this year and we look forward to welcoming visitors back to our pop-up shop.

"We are excited to be bringing the WIFI village to the festival, allowing everyone the opportunity to stay connected at the festival.

"The local community is at the heart of everything we do and we hope everyone enjoys benefitting from our shop and WIFI village at this years festival."

Powered by experts Voove systems, from the Isle of Benbecula in the Outer Hebredies, who provide WIFI and Internet for hotels and events across the Highlands and Islands, the service is expected to run smoothly.

Advance vouchers are available online from https://www.voove.com/shop/

Now in its 13th year, the theme of the 2016 festival will be ‘Superstition.’

The festival year features Madness, Two Door Cinema Club and The Darkness. Upgrades for ticket holders are on sale via the festival website at www.tartanheartfestival.co.uk and via www.skiddle.com.
