"Bella" say police of pop festival
Police Scotland reports that so far, the behaviour of festival-goers at Belladrum Festival has been very good and in the spirit of the family friendly nature of the event.
As of this morning, there has been only one arrest of 33 year old man for a Breach of the Peace and five small quantity drug seizures have been made . Officers have also dealt with five reports of missing children, all of whom have been found and re-united with their parents or other relatives within a short time.
Event Commander, Chief Inspector Mark Mackay said " There are record numbers in attendance at Belladrum this year and we are really pleased with how the festival has gone so far and made it an enjoyable weekend much to the credit of everyone in attendance".
He added, " We hope that the rest of the event continues as it has started and would like to remind all those attending with children to know their whereabouts at all times. Festival-goers should continue to pace themselves and we would urge anyone planning on driving away from the site tomorrow morning to carefully consider how much alcohol they drink today.
