"I’ve just spoken to SSE and apparently it’s an unscheduled power cut affecting nearly 100 properties in Kincraig, Rothiemurchus and part of Aviemore.

"The O2 mast is down too."

Engineers have just arrived on site and are targeting 1.30pm latest to have it fixed.

A spokesperson for SSEN has now confirmed that things are being sorted:

“Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) can confirm that engineers are working to restore power supplies to five customers in the Kincraig area.

“Engineers were alerted to the outage at 10:55am today, which initially affected 76 local homes. The five remaining customers off supply are expected to have power restored by 1:30pm.

“SSEN apologises for any inconvenience this may cause and thanks customers for their patience while engineers work to restore their power as quickly and safely as possible.”
