A notice posted on social media today explained:

"Unfortunately, one of our staff members has recently been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19.

"Your safety is of the upmost importance, so sadly, we are temporarily closing Alvie Forest Food until all staff have tested negative and we can be assured that we are serving you safely and in line with the regulations.

"As soon as we are able we will be delighted to serve you all once again.

"Hope to see you all soon."

A beauty salon in Aviemore on Friday took the same measures after a client was reported to have tested positive.

Beautique Aviemore, in Myrtlefield, explained that they were carrying out a deep clean and their staff were gettting routine tests carried out.
