Hamish, the first polar bear born in the UK for 25 years, enjoys the snow at the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland’s Highland Wildlife Park in Kincraig.
The wildlife conservation charity’s cold weather adapted and native animals have been taking the frosty conditions in their stride at their home in the Cairngorms National Park.
Alyson Houston's pictures capture the sheer joy of an animal totally in his element as the storms delight someone in Badenoch, at last.
The brightest star of the park, bringing tens of thousands to the reserve, celebrated his second birthday in December.
He was last weighed at the end of summer 2019 and tipped the scales at 340 kilograms.
