Badenoch and Strathspey join the band

Thursday's social media symphony of gratitude to NHS staff across Britain was joined by the strath's musicians.

The show featured untold numbers of pipers playing "Scotland the Brave" and as Fiona Rennie of Macmillan Cancer Support told the Strathy afterwards:

"Our senior fundraising manager in the North of Scotland, Shirlie Geddes, pulled out the stops to support and give a nod to NHS staff in Scotland.

"Shirlie's husband Chris is the Pipe Major in the Badenoch & Strathspey Pipe Band and along with their son Somhairle, they played Scotland the Brave for #pipeupforkeyworkers."
