GO CAREFULLY: Temperatures are low and roads are wet

Sleety showers are affecting roads in Badenoch and Strathspey this morning.

The latest Highland road conditions report, issued at 8.31am, warns of wet roads and ice patches across the network.

“All routes are being treated, with footpaths included.”

On the Inverness side there are icy stretches on some high roads and gritters are out treating where required.

The neighbouring Nairn routes are also wet with ice patches across the network but with “no known overnight issues.”
