More than 100 shrugged off the rain today at Aviemore’s 336th Parkrun.

Runners, walkers, strollers descended on Strathspey from around the country, with South London Harriers well represented, Abergavenny, Falkirk, Portishead and many other places making themselves known to the ever-popular course along the Speyside Way.

All were cheered on by another great showing from the strath’s own volunteer force who ensured there were no mishaps and everything went smoothly.

“It was a bit rainy,” said Emma Sinclair, “but that didn’t dampen anyone’s enthusiasm.”
