Marathon effort completed for Speysound Radio
"Wonder Woman" Cath Wright has completed her 24-hour live broadcast for Speysound Radio in Aviemore.
The title was immediately afforded her by a record of the same name at the start of follow-on programme Megan's Mixtape.
"I'm not Wonder Woman!" admitted Megan Morgan. "That's Cath Wright, after completing her special fund-raiser for the station."
At 10.30 this morning (Monday, April 29) a clue as to how the marathon DJ was feeling came in Elbow's classic line: "Throw those curtains wide, one day like this a year'd see me right...!"
After the show Cath told the Strathy: "We started at 11am on Sunday and went right through non stop!
"Over £1100 was raised and thank you to all of the local business, friends and fellow presenters that came in to visit and of course sponsored us!"
