Aviemore parkrun going great guns
Today's Aviemore parkrun boasted 74 enthusiastic participants and included 41 visitors.
Stand-out result was 11-year-old Eilidh Murdoch's 10th place in 21:33 on her first ever outing over the popular strath course.
Eilidh and her family were visiting from Braemar.
There were 29 other first-timers and the day saw eight new personal bests.
As ever it was all down to sturdy volunteers to ensure the event went ahead without a hitch.
This week's heroes were: Pete Wright (who also took the photos), Katie Hanson, Hilary Quick, Claire Howie, Bill Dewitt, Anto Misina and Paul Davidson.

Aviemore parkrun started on May 6, 2017. Since then 6,406 participants have completed 14,870 parkruns covering a total distance of 74,350 km, including 1,974 new PBs.
A total of 247 individuals have volunteered 1,992 times.
