Through social media a spokesperson confirmed this afternoon: "Due to low attendance and Aviemore being quiet in general throughout January we’ve made the difficult decision to close Spey Valley Cinema until further notice.

There was a fair turnout for 'No Time to Die' premiere on September 30, but the low numbers since have unfortunately disproved the title: the cinema will close until further notice.
