Striking artistic creations by Kingussie High School pupils to go on display at an exhibition in the Iona Gallery





IMPRESSIVE works by creative students at one strath school are set to go on public display next week.

Kingussie High School’s pupils have been busy preparing ahead of an exhibition of their art, design, photography and film work,

Their Creative Showcase exhibition opens at the Iona Gallery in Kingussie next Thursday, April 4 and then through to April 7 inclusive.

“The work on show is a range from our Art and Design junior classes as well as National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher art, design, photography and film portfolios,” said teacher Katy Thomson.

The art, design and photography teacher added: “The opening night will also feature performances from our senior music students who will be playing their own original compositions.”

The exhibition will be open from 5pm to 7pm on April 4, from 1pm to 4pm on April 5 and from 10am to 4pm on April 6 and 7.
