Artist heal thyself at Kingussie

The healing properties of art are to be celebrated – and demonstrated - at Kingussie’s Iona Gallery.

Jude Craig, of Newtonmore, is a practising, natural healing therapist, passionate about encouraging a balance of mind, body and spirit to promote well-being and positive living.

Having recently rekindled her interest in artistic expression she told the Strathy: “Each painting is a journey of discovery, deeply therapeutic and liberating for me as I work intuitively with no attachment to what the finished piece should look like so, delightfully, surprises do happen.”

A collection of her paintings will be on public display at the Iona Gallery from Monday September 19 until Saturday September 24. Doors open from 1pm-5pm.
