Appeal after motorist fails to stop for police in Aviemore

Police in Aviemore are appealing for witnesses following reports of a car driving dangerously yesterday afternoon (Monday).
The incident took place around 2.45pm when a dark coloured Saab was seen driving in a dangerous manner on Grampian Road.
It left the village heading towards Grantown after the driver failed to stop for police officers.
Enquiries are ongoing to trace the car, which is believed to have travelled on rural back roads towards the Elgin area.
PC Caroline Gray, who is based at Aviemore Police Station, said: “Anyone who witnessed this car yesterday or who has any knowledge of the incident is encouraged to contact police."
Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting incident 1977 of 13 April.
