Police warn of alleged online loans fraud

POLICE wish to highlight ongoing reports of possible fraudulent schemes carried out over the telephone.

Reports of fraudulent offers of loans in return for a fee upfront, from an alleged online based company, are currently being investigated in the Inverness area.

The public area advised to remain vigilant in regard to these kinds of offers and should not under any circumstances pay any fees, nor give out any bank details in response to unsolicited calls. If you receive any such calls, make a note of the details and inform Police.
