All emergency services on the scene as A9 closes
Emergency services are attending an incident on the A9 just south of the Carrbridge turn off.
Traffic Scotland report: that the road has been closed.
“A9 Carrbridge - A95 North Aviemore, both northbound and southbound.”
The alarm went up at 10.29.
“Road users are advised to use an alternative route and expect longer than normal journey times.
One observer reports: “Lots of emergency vehicles here, air ambulance just landed and road closed in both directions
“Police are turning traffic round to divert through Carrbridge and have said it will be closed for quite a while, but the A9 has not been closed at the Carrbridge turn yet (so may not be closed at the Aviemore junction either) so more traffic is joining the queue.”
