Ambulances were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash this morning on the A95 near the Heather Centre at Skye of Curr.

With no police or Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attending - thus far at least - details are sparse but observers say there were no serious injuries reported.

There were no reports of any road closures in the area on Traffic Scotland.

SFRS confirmed they had despatched no fire crews to the area.

“One of the cars appears to have been written off,” one witness told the Strathy after the incident, which reportedly happened at 11.30.

If more details become available this afternoon we will issue an update.
