UPDATE: A9 reopens after road traffic incident at Carrbridge last night

The A9 has reopened earlier today after a road traffic incident near Carrbridge last night, with the road closed for several hours.

Traffic Scotland reported the closure of the Kinveachy to Slochd just before 10.40pm last night saying the road was closed in both directions.

After remaining closed overnight the road reopened earlier today before 6am.

Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
