Emergency services are currently in attendance at a serious road traffic collision on the A9 at Dalwhinnie.

The collision was reported around 10.50am this morning (Wednesday March 30) and involves multiple vehicles.

Heli-Med is also in attendance.

Local diversions are in place via Dalwhinnie but drivers are advised to expect delays in the area.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told the Strathy: “A further update will be issued when the road is open. Drivers are thanked for their patience.

“A further update will be issued when full extent of injuries is known”
