Police Scotland are advising motorists that the A9 is currently closed between Inverness and Tomatin due to heavy snow fall

Officers from the Highland and Islands Road Policing department are currently in attendance at the location and working with Bear Scotland to get the road re-opened.

Police Scotland are advising motorists to consider if their journey is necessary prior to setting off and to make sure that they check their vehicles thoroughly and carry extra warm clothing in case of any delays.
